Ad Mortem
In Australia there is the ubiquitous over-arching sky, and the delicate tracery on the human eyeball when we gaze up into the blueness. I was influenced here by the mediaeval idea of the Dance of Death, the ridiculous prospect of humans dancing across the land engaged in all kinds of quests. The music is Ad Mortem Festinamus, with mediaeval words set by Judith Clingan. 2002 60 x 90cm
